Painter Tessa Barnum is struggling. Her husband left, she's broke, about to be evicted and has made some serious missteps in her career.
When scruffy Brian Tennyson explodes into her life, claiming to be from an alternate universe, Tessa thinks he's a crazy vagabond - albeit one with mysterious and undeniable appeal.

Then he informs her that in his world, they're married.

Tessa's universe is turned upside down as the truth of love and loss, victory and humiliation, and second chances comes back to her. She has to choose love over logic to reach that state of anticipation where miracles unfold. The secret to her own life was always in her heart.
Goodreads Average Rating; 3.33
My Rating; 4*s
Would I read anything else by this author? Yes
Would I recommend this book? Yes
Who would I recommend it to? Fans of romance, and people who like to read, or would like to read about parallel universe, and a little mystery.

My Review; This book is a very good example of why you should not judge a book by its cover. This book cover makes you think that the book must be erotic, but really, it's a sweet romance with an interesting storyline.

This book was definitely a fun read.

And it really does make you ask the question: What would you do for the love of your life?
Or rather as the description says: What worlds would you move to be with your soulmate?

I was also totally convinced that I knew how the book was going to end. I was wrong. So, the book isn't a predictable one either!

A fun, quirky read that I'd recommend.

  3. Thanks for the giveaway! What got me wasn't the cover, though I did think it was an erotica when I first saw it. But, when I read a friends review for this book, I was thinking "okaaaay, so not an erotica and so damned interesting." She raved about it, which gave me second thoughts about passing it up. So I immediately added it to my TBR pile. Great review, your review falls in line with my friends thoughts as well.

    1. Ah, so I review got you interested in the book. I try to read the description rather than the review, I'll read them after I read the book, and I'll look at the ratings, but I like not be swayed by other people opinions. Because sometimes I'll like the book everybody hates and vice versa.

Thanks for following, for the welcome, and for the "Great review" comment! :)

My blog is just over six months old now, I think. So, it's not too new, but still kind of new. :)

    1. Congrats on getting yourself a Kindle! I got myself one a few weeks ago, up until then I was using the computer app, so I'd worked my self up a nice collection of free and not-so-free books.
      Good luck!
